Grant and Support Programmes

We track the calls as they open, pick the ones that match your profile and build the application file around the scoring criteria.

Who it is for

SMEs in manufacturing, software, agriculture and export.

What you end up with

  • Screening open calls and matching eligibility
  • Business plan, budget tables and justification texts
  • Filing in the application system and answering requests for missing items
  • Expenditure documents and closing reports after the grant

There are dozens of support programmes open to businesses in Türkiye. The difficulty is not finding one, it is choosing the right one. The same investment can be taken to three different programmes and the return from each can be very different.

That choice is the first half of the work. The second is writing the file to match the call document of the programme you chose.

Where the money comes from

Each institution has its own application system, its own document list and its own calendar. Most programmes are not open year round; call periods are limited.

How we work

1. Eligibility screen

From enterprise size, activity code, incorporation date, province and the planned investment, we establish which programmes you can enter. The output is a one page table: programme, covered cost lines, application period and our initial assessment.

2. Choosing the programme

Where there is more than one option we compare them. The support rate alone does not decide it; application difficulty, evaluation time, co financing requirement and reporting burden all count. A lower rate that concludes faster is sometimes the better choice.

3. Designing the project

We build the project against the scoring table in the call document. Problem statement, activity plan, indicators and sustainability are each written to answer that table.

4. Budget and documents

Quotes are collected for every line, eligibility checked, and the co financing plan set. The document list is drawn up with short validity items placed in the calendar.

5. Filing and follow up

The application goes into the relevant system, and information requests during evaluation are answered inside their deadlines.

6. Delivery and reporting

Everything after approval runs under project management: procurement, eligibility of expenditure, interim reports and closure.

Situations we see often

"We applied last year and it failed." Reapplying without seeing the grounds usually produces the same result. We establish the reasons first.

"We started the investment, then heard about the programme." Most programmes start the eligible period on a specific date. For a started investment we identify which lines still fall inside scope.

"Can we use two programmes at once?" Sometimes, and the cost lines always have to be separated. Where an investment incentive certificate is involved, the restriction in Decree 9903 on combining with other public support has to be checked first.

"Is our sector supported?" Calls usually draw boundaries by sector and activity code. That is the first thing the screen looks at.

Why one team matters

Running a grant application and an investment incentive certificate separately means collecting the same information twice. We manage both from one file: the same machinery list, the same feasibility, the same document set, formatted for whatever each programme requires.

First step

Bring us the planned investment and the current position of the business. The eligibility screen is free and shows on a single page which doors are open and which offers the better return.

Common questions on this topic

What is the difference between a grant and an incentive?

A grant is support you do not repay as long as you meet the conditions. Incentive is the broader term and covers tax reductions, exemptions and premium support. An investment incentive certificate is not a grant but a package of support elements.

Which institutions award grants?

KOSGEB, TÜBİTAK, the regional development agencies, the Ministry of Trade, agriculture and rural development bodies, and European Union funds are the main sources. Each has its own application system and calendar.

How long does an application take to prepare?

Typically four to eight weeks from eligibility screen to a complete file. Document collection and quote gathering take most of that. If a call closes sooner, preparing for the next round is usually the better call.

Is grant money paid into my account?

In most programmes payment is made against expenditure documents. You pay first, submit the documents and receive the support afterwards. The cash plan has to reflect that.

Can one investment use several programmes?

It depends. The same cost line can never be funded twice. Beyond that, Decree 9903 generally bars an investment supported under an incentive certificate from also taking support from other public institutions, with Technology Push investments and subsidised credit as exceptions. We check the combination before any multiple filing is planned.

Will my application be approved?

The institution decides and nobody can promise the outcome. Our work is making the file comply fully with the call and answer every heading in the scoring table. Where we think the chance is poor, we say so at the start.

How is the fee set?

Once the scope is clear, a fixed fee or a fixed fee plus a success component. The proposal lists line by line what is included.

Do you have a file under this heading?

Describe the situation briefly and we will map out the programmes you qualify for and a likely timetable.
